Mr Obama: first black president of US! Don't you feel so good that the world is really changing? As in changing for the better, and there is much more equality to the different types of people from different races and countries?

There was once discrimination against women, where they couldn't even go to school or work and only listen to the men, but now women are so strong and wise, we overcome the discrimination barrier and sometimes dominate at the top. Of course i'm a little biased, but I mean look at our girl Sue Hern(oh btw, just to rub in your face, I talked to her before! Muhahha!) , who got 11 A1s! Nobody would even believe that if they were in the past.
Anyways, enough of my poor interpretation of equality.

For every post now, I hope to mention at lease one of the 30 human rights that people tend to forget.

Human Right #1

We Are All Born Free & Equal

Meaning: We all have our own thoughts and ideas. We should all be treated in the same way. We are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Try to remember it!

Human Right #2
Don't Discriminate

These rights belong to everybody, whatever our differences.

Two for you, for now.

Back to school:
First match on Friday with AI, hope we do well and play our best! Go SNNB!
Countdown to ChinaTrip, 6 days!
Other than that, i just want to say: accept me for who I am because it is me and I don't have any reason to be different, or to be the same as anyone else. But it is okay if i'm not accepted, because obviously, good friends are those who last!

Oh please oh please let me keep up in class!

This is goodbye for now!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVE EVE!

CNY celebration was cool :) Okay not very cool, because not many ppl wore ethnic! I just wish everybody would wear, even if you don't have one, just invest on one which you could wear for CNY over the years.. Imagine seeing a sea of girls from different age-groups and cliques wearing bright red/ orange qipaos or cheong sam from the field. How awesome that'd be!

Went out this morning with the our class' China Scholars, Ms Lim, Ms Tan, Rach, Gen, Chantel to Chinatown! It was a really nice thing for Ms Lim to suggest and organise for the scholars because they don't get to spend their New Year with their families which is kind of upsetting (Forgive my terrible vocabulary!). They looked like they were having fun which was definitely fulfilling and i think we got to let them feel like they were a little at home here in Singapore.

Then after that we all went to people's park complex to look at the beads shops. Rach and Gen bought tons and tons! I got this charm to make little gifts for my friends and one really cute, light blue bead that looks so pure and sweet that I just gotta get! (It sounds stupid, but the bead really is like that!)

Back to school:
I just feel like i'm not where everybody else is. Like i'm still using tricycles while they are already on bycicles. Everything is moving so so fast and I am just increasingly going slower and slower. Even Netball is leaving me behind while I drown in the sea of breathlessness and tiredness. It is so so tiring and awful.

New year please give me new strength! Please!

Okay i can't tell you how amazing we PSLs had it with the sec ones during camp! It was absolutely great and wonderful!

The sec ones are just so cute and fun and co-operative and so so great. Most of them are so innocent and you get to be there for them, because they are new to this loud and huge environment. Then you guide, teach, encourage them, and get to know more of them during camp. It was just amazing. Oh but it wasn't so smooth sailing. There were those parts, when you feel like you are so tired and you just want to go home and plomp yourself on bed, or when you feel like you just failed being a support leader when you lose a sheep from your herd, or one where you see your few of your sheep sitting alone. Of course all these are just minor feelings and most of all, i remember the smiles we all had in the camp! I SO ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SHEEP OF ONE DILIGENCE ;D!

I'll post some pictures when i'm un-lazy enough to upload them to the com! :D

Oh i forgot to mention: 3Faith has the most kind and caring people ever! Seriously. Instead of me calling to ask for hmk(because we missed a few days of class), they called and asked if we needed them to tell us the homework! Just wow. I SO LOVE OUR SHEEP OF THREEFAITH TOO! :)

Okay this song has been stuck in my head forever. Just thought i needed to share it with the world.

Still coughing but dont want to go doctor's. I mean won't they just give me the cough syrup and mc then get sent home? Okay well i gotta do the little homework that was given today. Oh and good news! For once my passport picture looked fine. Woohoo! 161 Days to Sweet 15. Okay not so sweet. But 15 sounds nice. Not too old or young! Actually thinking about it, it is old. Oh no

And 1D09 is so cool. 3F09 is also too cool too

So Friday was first day of school for all of Singapore! Except for my friends in vj those cheaters!
I expected to feel much more rejuvenated and happy, because generally, i love first days, and i am supposed to love first days! Maybe it's because of my cough and flu. Damn. It's still going on and on and on and on till forever. It's already been 2 weeks, and i hope it really stops soon, if not i can't talk properly or play netball, and it is very very super extremely irritating!

First day went on, the normal hub hub in the morning, (which i so LOVE and look forward to every year) then Assembly. Form teacher is Dawn Lim and she seems really fun and cool. We have 8 china scholars and you know, i think they are gonna make the class stay fun and grounded, and all of them sound humble, friendly and cute. So anyways, although it has only been the first day of school, I kind of like my class a lot.

It was very chaotic that day, for PSLS we gotta bring our sec 1 classes in and out to places far and wide in school. (Btw, our school is prettty big. Actually, Huge. [and i don't know why we still have to do prime- i think it's a sad waste of money and we should use the money and resources for other more important stuff, like getting more teachers or helping out the needier students or bringing our students to other countries other than china all the time[edit-not that there is anything wrong with China. China is great.] or helping out with a charity or less-fortunate organisation. I don't know. I just really feel like our school is already really pretty and full of facilities and has all that we need, and that money should be used for other causes])

Then missed training for 2 meetings that afternoon- Councillor meeting and PSL meeting.

Saturday.
Woke up v. early at 6 and got a ride from Qing and her dad, and we went to Kallang Netball Centre for our Daisy Tan Carnival. I guess we played quite okay but not our best, definitely. Mr Coach found out i was sick and didn't let me play after that. I guess it's bad and good. Bad cause i don't get to play with my team, and netball forever until i recover, Good because my health would probably get worse worse worse and i would problably play unless well the coach says no, and also because it's another excuse to go for the wedding dinner which i'd have to leave early for. Anyways, i heard from Dionne that we got 4th. So very sad and disappointing. This means that we are not prepared for North Zone. Far from nationals. Okay lets steer away from the sadness and it's wedding time

with my cousin! His name is Hanson but we all thought he was handsome when we were young haha. Anyways i got to wear this really pretty dress i got from Australia, it is smooth black and curves around your body until the waist, where it opens up or something like that. It's very common actually, and i think many ppl bought it for prom from topshop.
(Sort of like this but black)

(Georgie wore the dress to Prince Caspian Premiere in Paris, and omg she is soo pretty)

So the wedding was okay, but the pictures of the newlyweds are really sweet.
Sorry got no pictures because we forgot to charge the camera, how sad.

Okay well, Happy New Year to the whole world and I hope this year would be greater than it was last year!
